I just wanted to take a minute to let you know the success we've had in advertising in the Steiner Star Newsletter. As you know, we have used newsletter advertising as the core of our advertising budget, supplementing a couple of times a year with door hangers, direct mail and email advertising. As a fitness center, January is typically our biggest month for new customers and we made a decision to try and move some of those sales into December with full page ads in December and an insert in January. Wow! We sold 9 times more memberships in December of 2008 and last year! And we've already sold as many memberships in the first week of January as we did the entire month last year!

We are now on target to meet our membership goals for the year and we're looking forward to continuing our relationship with Peel, Inc. as we expand our products and services to include Sports Camps for Student Athletes and Online Fitness and Nutrition. As a small, neighborhood business, we need to spend our advertising dollars very carefully and need to have a measurable ROI on every dollar we spend.
